Confirmed from Crescent Lake Park's own listing, the park or land manager's website, and runner reviews. Blank cells mean we could not verify that fact — we would rather say "not reported" than invent one. There is no Easy / Moderate / Hard rating on this page on purpose: a one-word difficulty score tells you nothing about whether a trail suits your run. Surface, distance, shade and hours do.

“We are lucky to have such a beautiful natural wonder right in the middle of the city”

🌳 shaded & cool 7 mentions

“I love all the trees that provide nice shade around the paved pathways, which are great for walkers, runners, bikers, etc.”

Crescent Lake Park is my happy place. I spend a considerable amount of time at this park, lounging in the grass, hanging on a hammock, or gazing at the wildlife in the lake. It is a scenic spot with so many great niches to enjoy.

I love all the trees that provide nice shade around the paved pathways, which are great for walkers, runners, bikers, etc. The lake provides a peaceful setting with plenty of benches to just sit and relax. There’s also a small play area with swings that is fenced in for the smaller kids.

It used to be the training grounds for a few MLB teams. You can see the old water tower overlooking the park. There are numerous shops and dining options around the lake. Great place for walking, fishing (valid license over 16 memorial-labor day),picnics, and taking pets out.

We stopped here for a bit on our way to downtown St Pete. The park was spacious and fenced in. The sidewalk nice and walk for ease of passing. The dogs were on leashes. The lake was beautiful. Will definitely come back another time to walk some more.

Trail conditions & character

What this trail is actually like underfoot and overhead, taken from its own listing and from reviews. Each one links to every other trail with the same character. Busy or quiet is reported as a plain fact, not a plus or a minus — a runner heading out alone at dawn often wants company on the path, and someone running intervals wants an empty one.

🐕 Dog-friendly 18 mentions

“There’s a dog park and pickleball and tennis courts, tho tennis courts could use a little love.”
