Confirmed from Sawgrass Lake Park's own listing, the park or land manager's website, and runner reviews. Blank cells mean we could not verify that fact — we would rather say "not reported" than invent one. There is no Easy / Moderate / Hard rating on this page on purpose: a one-word difficulty score tells you nothing about whether a trail suits your run. Surface, distance, shade and hours do.

Great walking paths both boardwalk and dirt. Beautiful views offering much tree coverage. Great overlook by the lake with seating. Not built for dog walking in majority of the pathways

Sawgrass Lake Park is a must-visit! 🤩 Free parking and entrance with walk paths, benches, tables, restrooms, and even board games. This is by far one of my favorite parks I have been to so far. SO MUCH wildlife from turtles, butterflies, birds of all kinds, alligators, and so much more.

This is REALLY a great park and wildlife preservation with lots of information on the nearby animals in the area, indigenous animals of Florida! The boardwalks that are here provide ample spaces for walks into the park over the lakes and streams that are here, also we were able to see live alligators in there natural…

The 400 acres of peaceful walks and exploration holds one of the largest maple swamps on the Gulf Coast, perfect for wildlife photos! There is also a natural hiking trail. Many areas wheelchair accessible. There's plenty of parking. Fishing is NOT ALLOWED.

Trail conditions & character

What this trail is actually like underfoot and overhead, taken from its own listing and from reviews. Each one links to every other trail with the same character. Busy or quiet is reported as a plain fact, not a plus or a minus — a runner heading out alone at dawn often wants company on the path, and someone running intervals wants an empty one.
