We have not been able to confirm the surface, distance or shape of Cullen Park yet from its own listing, the park's website or runner reviews — so those cells stay blank rather than guess. What is below comes straight from the listing and from reviewers' own words. There is no Easy / Moderate / Hard rating on this page on purpose: a one-word difficulty score tells you nothing about whether a trail suits your run. Surface, distance, shade and hours do.

Lakeside park, known for its docks and ramps for launching boats, with a trail that leads to a peninsula.

What runners say about Cullen Park

Pulled from public reviews of this trail (874 of them) — the things people bring up again and again, in their own words. Nothing here is written by us.

Very different from any trail in the area. I saw a lot of cool birds. I would suggest wearing hiking boots. It's not super easy to get out to the point. There is a lot of poison ivy along the trail. I suggest wearing long pants.

Great place to launch your boat and go walking on trails. There are docks to launch kayaks and small boats as well as large boats. You can fish off the docks or sit at a picnic table and have lunch under a tree. Plenty of parking for your car or truck and trailer.

What a great little park! We enjoyed ourselves on a nice hike along the peak. Even though it was quite chilly, the path was decent. There’s a bit of brush and logs that will be taken care of in no time considering we saw fresh chainsaw marks. Well done to the park crews!!!

Nice spot to launch a boat, take a bike ride or walk. Plenty of parking, long spots for boat trailers. There are spots to sit on a log and look over the water or fish. A girl had a stringer with perch and sheepshead. Good spot for birding. There was a portolet at the end of the lot.

Trail conditions & character

What this trail is actually like underfoot and overhead, taken from its own listing and from reviews. Each one links to every other trail with the same character. Busy or quiet is reported as a plain fact, not a plus or a minus — a runner heading out alone at dawn often wants company on the path, and someone running intervals wants an empty one.
