We have not been able to confirm the surface, distance or shape of Cutchenmine Trail yet from its own listing, the park's website or runner reviews — so those cells stay blank rather than guess. What is below comes straight from the listing and from reviewers' own words. There is no Easy / Moderate / Hard rating on this page on purpose: a one-word difficulty score tells you nothing about whether a trail suits your run. Surface, distance, shade and hours do.

Love this trail! Trail dead ends at a beautiful creek! Trail is easy to navigate with very few inclines that are not steep! Beginner friendly

This trail goes to one of the most beautiful big creeks that flows into the river with gorgeous big river rocks. It is a little over 2 miles to the end of the trail to the creek. Once you get to it is so worth it. I hike here with our dog and she loves it. The trail follows the lake all the way to the creek.

Beautiful Trail. Easy walk along the lake. May just have to park at the boat ramp, since the trail head itself fits only three parked cars.

★★★★★ — Ivan , Nov 2023

2026.06.18 ~05:30 arrived at the Boat Ramp Picnic Area (around 0.5 mi W of the Cutchenmine Trailhead. And i went on a CW_Loop hike: Picnic Area > Tom Bevil Trail > Cutchenmine Trail Loop > Picnic Area. It was a beautiful hike … birdsongs, green woods, .. Dry Creek (which wasn't "dry", but flowing crystal clear water).

Trail conditions & character

What this trail is actually like underfoot and overhead, taken from its own listing and from reviews. Each one links to every other trail with the same character. Busy or quiet is reported as a plain fact, not a plus or a minus — a runner heading out alone at dawn often wants company on the path, and someone running intervals wants an empty one.
