Confirmed from TVA Honeycomb Trail Head's own listing, the park or land manager's website, and runner reviews. Blank cells mean we could not verify that fact — we would rather say "not reported" than invent one. There is no Easy / Moderate / Hard rating on this page on purpose: a one-word difficulty score tells you nothing about whether a trail suits your run. Surface, distance, shade and hours do.
Popular place featuring a lakeside camping ground and a trailhead for an 8-mile-long route, plus swimming.
What runners say about TVA Honeycomb Trail Head
“Outstanding camping, clean facilities, lots to do.”
“The people were really friendly and the area was stunningly beautiful.”
“Peaceful, everyones nice.”
Great trail. We started on the trail from the South end near the dam. Missed the trailhead sign with all the leaves down, but had a great hike after we got on right path.
8 mile point to point, ending at the dam. You can do a shorter "loop" around the lake starting at Honeycomb campground. This is a nice moderate trail enjoyable in the winter months when foliage doesn't obstruct the view and the swampy heat of summer isn't all over you.
Took this Honeycomb trail for the first time a few weeks ago, although it needs some TLC it has a ton of potential, I’ll definitely ride this trail again in the near future.
Peaceful, everyones nice. And the ladies that run the shop are great and really funny. Your on the water. Theres a beach area. This place is great for the whole family.
