I would normally give this place 5 stars, but there are some things that bugged me a little. First, some caveats about hiking here, as I met quite a few casual hikers on the trail yesterday. (1) Bring lots of water! Especially if you are going to do the Vista Loop.
Was here in April last year and the flowers were in full bloom . Dreamy trail with Mountain View’s and flowers all around. Easy walking and great place for a picnic
Wild Flowers in April, very scenic not too steep of a trail hike unlike many of the other popular hikes in the gorge. Almost entirely grassy dirt trail didn’t have to walk over any rocky paths. Has some stunning views of Mt. Hood during clear days and blooming wildflowers when in season!
Great spot for Spring wildflowers, but as of 4/13/2023 they are running about a week late.
