Confirmed from Sorosis Park's own listing, the park or land manager's website, and runner reviews. Blank cells mean we could not verify that fact — we would rather say "not reported" than invent one. There is no Easy / Moderate / Hard rating on this page on purpose: a one-word difficulty score tells you nothing about whether a trail suits your run. Surface, distance, shade and hours do.

Shaded, grassy park with disc golf, a rose garden, a large play structure & Columbia River views.

What runners say about Sorosis Park

Pulled from public reviews of this trail (1,003 of them) — the things people bring up again and again, in their own words. Nothing here is written by us.

🏞️ beautiful scenery 13 mentions

“It's a beautiful park with big oak trees, a playground, bathrooms, rose garden, and picnic areas.”

🌳 shaded & cool 3 mentions

“They have made a lot of changes to this park over the past couple of years most trees were taken down so less shade on hot days.”

👟 good for all levels 2 mentions

“Fun for all ages my 2-year old was easily able to play in multiple different areas of the playground.”

Top tier park for little ones. Fun castle vibe to the construction, and I appreciate it was hand built before the manufactured playsets you see everywhere nowadays. A tad run down in a few spots, but nothing a few wood screws and a weekend wouldn't fix. Well kept bathrooms.

They have made a lot of changes to this park over the past couple of years most trees were taken down so less shade on hot days. Much cleaner and more organized even more then before. I went during a car show on august 12th 2023. Great time and cars of all types from all around America.

I can't thank the ranger ENOUGH. I was close to passing out and he was paying attention to me and recognized my need for help. He gave us both the water we both desperately needed. So kind. Thank you again. Then, the park itself is not that big, but it has it's "own energy" here. Very intense.

Absolutely beautiful park. The Rose garden was absolutely stunning and vivid. The phone was not running which was disappointing. The view overlooking the Columbia is beautiful as well. There was no shade out by the Rose garden or anywhere to sit to enjoy it. That's why the deduction of one star.

Trail conditions & character

What this trail is actually like underfoot and overhead, taken from its own listing and from reviews. Each one links to every other trail with the same character. Busy or quiet is reported as a plain fact, not a plus or a minus — a runner heading out alone at dawn often wants company on the path, and someone running intervals wants an empty one.
