Confirmed from David Jackson Park's own listing, the park or land manager's website, and runner reviews. Blank cells mean we could not verify that fact — we would rather say "not reported" than invent one. There is no Easy / Moderate / Hard rating on this page on purpose: a one-word difficulty score tells you nothing about whether a trail suits your run. Surface, distance, shade and hours do.

🏞️ beautiful scenery 4 mentions

“Well maintained but not very scenic.”

👟 good for all levels 3 mentions

“Playground areas for all ages as well as a running track that circles the entire facility.”

Nice walking path for exercise that weaves around baseball fields and playground with bathroom facilities. Well maintained but not very scenic. I prefer trails that dive into the woods and wonder about a little.

Great place for family, friends, get togethers, birthday parties, baseball games.. You name it. Located at the base of the foothills in the blue ridge area in Northern Greenville county. This place has baseball fields. Playground areas for all ages as well as a running track that circles the entire facility.

There is a new nature trail that just opened. So check it out. It is 8/10 mile easy walk in the woods. You will end up on the different side in the park, there are 2 entrance points to the trail. The David Jackson Park is big and has multiple baseball fields and a playground with restrooms and picnic area.

Beautiful day to take a walk. Very nice park. Well maintained. My bride and 1 walked 1.25 miles. They also had a grave from a couple that died in 1863 poised on top of a hill in the center of the park. Had a playground, picnic tables and bathrooms.

Trail conditions & character

What this trail is actually like underfoot and overhead, taken from its own listing and from reviews. Each one links to every other trail with the same character. Busy or quiet is reported as a plain fact, not a plus or a minus — a runner heading out alone at dawn often wants company on the path, and someone running intervals wants an empty one.

🐕 Dog-friendly 10 mentions

“This is the place to go for exercise, you can take your leashed dog, which they even have a poop station for bags, and walk or jog the trail.”
