Winter: I took a quick walk over by Gotts Point and took some amazing shots of the sunny, cold day over the lake. The couds were giving me a show as well. Enjoy! Fall: Nice peaceful autumn walk on the Kingfisher trail. Spring: Added some new photos walking on the trails on the West side of the lake.
Since we were out in the boonies we came across this national refuge and wanted to check it out. It is a rustic setting with lots of water here. They have docks that you can go out and fish from then. They have gravel beaches so you can wade out a bit before it’s starting to get deeper.
Beautiful place to walk, watch birds,and enjoy nature. The attendee at the visitor's center was so friendly and knowledgeable. I will definitely visit again!
They are always so friendly here. The trails are well kept and they offer great events and services to the community. I was the first one on the trails after a snow dusting and it was beautiful.
