We have not been able to confirm the surface, distance or shape of Gotts Point Trail yet from its own listing, the park's website or runner reviews — so those cells stay blank rather than guess. What is below comes straight from the listing and from reviewers' own words. There is no Easy / Moderate / Hard rating on this page on purpose: a one-word difficulty score tells you nothing about whether a trail suits your run. Surface, distance, shade and hours do.
What runners say about Gotts Point Trail
“The white puffy clouds just make the lake look so beautiful.”
There are a couple parking spots near the trail head. There are more spots available at the point itself just a few hundred feet away. The trail has some rise and fall but nothing too strenuous. I did not see any bathrooms.
This is my hideaway from my home life. I love coming here with my dog Jax and just sit down to enjoy the peaceful sounds of the wild life and the water. It's a beautiful place to go for a walk or a little hike.
Awesome hike/walk in Nampa! Super nice to hike along the shore of Lake Lowell. A word to the wise … There is public hunting here, so … But that’s Idaho, eh?!
Very pretty to come here before sunset or after a spring rain. The white puffy clouds just make the lake look so beautiful. The landscape is growing so green because of the April showers. Such a peaceful walk .
