Confirmed from Deer Prairie Creek Preserve South's own listing, the park or land manager's website, and runner reviews. Blank cells mean we could not verify that fact — we would rather say "not reported" than invent one. There is no Easy / Moderate / Hard rating on this page on purpose: a one-word difficulty score tells you nothing about whether a trail suits your run. Surface, distance, shade and hours do.
Wooded park featuring multiple trails for hikers and bikers along with picnic tables.

Great place for kayaking, biking and trail walking to enjoy the beautiful outdoors! Reception can sometimes be spotty, so I highly recommend downloading Offline Maps on Deer Prairie Creek Preserve to avoid any issues.
Fun place to hike and see wild life. We saw Alligator, Armadillos, squirrels, rabbits, black wild pig and a tortoises. Small portions of the trail was under water. It never got above our knee and was usually only ankle deep. We hiked 6 miles.
This is a great place to launch a kayak. Parking and portage are very close and accessible. There are a lot of trails here but I wouldn't say it's a great place to hike. The trails are well maintained but wide open. Not much shade along the way. Definitely bring some water. It's a better place for mountain biking.
Great place for hiking. Miles and miles of trails. Nice to walk so far out and really feel quite alone out there. Easily did 8 miles and not another person in site. Gator, deer, pigs, gopher turtles...lots of wildlife. Beautiful spot!
