Confirmed from Myakka Islands Point Preserve's own listing, the park or land manager's website, and runner reviews. Blank cells mean we could not verify that fact — we would rather say "not reported" than invent one. There is no Easy / Moderate / Hard rating on this page on purpose: a one-word difficulty score tells you nothing about whether a trail suits your run. Surface, distance, shade and hours do.

Myakka is my favorite park, great trails, beautiful views and always wildlife to see and unlimited areas to explore!!!

★★★★☆ — Juan , Dec 2023

Excellent spot to take in the local flora and fauna. The trails were in excellent shape and easy to navigate. I'm fortunate to live near such a place. Good job to the staff/management getting this in nice shape after the wild weather through the years!

Absolutely great Walking park beautifully laid-out and everywhere possible Nature's been left in tax so that you can enjoy just be sure to pick up behind yourself and leave it the way you found it

Trails could be marked a little better. Bring plenty to drink and water shoes if it's been raining a lot. And bug spray lots of bug spray for them dang sweat flys.

Trail conditions & character

What this trail is actually like underfoot and overhead, taken from its own listing and from reviews. Each one links to every other trail with the same character. Busy or quiet is reported as a plain fact, not a plus or a minus — a runner heading out alone at dawn often wants company on the path, and someone running intervals wants an empty one.
