Confirmed from Deere Park's own listing, the park or land manager's website, and runner reviews. Blank cells mean we could not verify that fact — we would rather say "not reported" than invent one. There is no Easy / Moderate / Hard rating on this page on purpose: a one-word difficulty score tells you nothing about whether a trail suits your run. Surface, distance, shade and hours do.
Large wooded park featuring a Korean War memorial & the Staten Island Greenbelt Blue Trail.

Really nice trail and if you want to see the high that nearly gutted Staten Island, the Richmond highway, take this trail. When you make it to open area where the high was going to start, there are great views of world trade center 1 aka the freedom tower. Plus great views of the island as well.
Hidden treasure in NYC. Try to find Skull tree. Great single track hiking trails. You feel like you are in the country. Connects with additional trails for hours of hiking. Maintained by Protectors of the pine oaks.

The practical stuff
- AccessPosted hours — posted hours below; park gates sometimes close earlier than the listing says
- SurfaceNatural surface — easiest on the joints and the most fun, but expect roots, rocks and mud after rain
- DistanceNot reported. Trail systems often quote total path mileage rather than a single loop, so measure the route you actually want before you drive out.
- ShadeNot reported. Assume some of it is exposed and carry water in summer.
