We have not been able to confirm the surface, distance or shape of Reed's Basket Willow Swamp Park yet from its own listing, the park's website or runner reviews — so those cells stay blank rather than guess. What is below comes straight from the listing and from reviewers' own words. There is no Easy / Moderate / Hard rating on this page on purpose: a one-word difficulty score tells you nothing about whether a trail suits your run. Surface, distance, shade and hours do.
What runners say about Reed's Basket Willow Swamp Park
“A very nice quiet spot in the middle of N.”
Nice light hiking trail with easy to find Yellow trail markers. However, the entrance is hard to find as it seems like it's in someone's backyard.
I love walking the trails and being in the forest... it's beautiful here!
It's a very nice park. There were so many deer along the trail. I saw two bucks, several does (females), and a fawn. The one buck was staring me down, but I gave him space and he was on his way. The only entrance I could find to the trail is on Chapin street.
Nice little loop, but no trail markings on how to connect to other sections of Greenbelt.

The practical stuff
- AccessHours vary — hours are not posted for this trail, so check before an early or late run
- DistanceNot reported. Trail systems often quote total path mileage rather than a single loop, so measure the route you actually want before you drive out.
