“Short but gorgeous hike perfect for families .”
Great trail and park. Creek runs along trail. There's a giant old growth tree with other trees growing out of it that acts as a bridge to the other side of creek. Also enormous tree shown in pic. Very cool?
Deeply wooded and well maintained trail. Prefect loop for a thirty or forty minute walk with a moderate climb in it.
It’s a peaceful, magical place with old-growth trees, owls, woodpeckers, and songbirds. A salmon stream runs through it, surrounded by mossy rocks and big ferns. It’s so beautiful. After hiking for about 30 minutes, we walk across the street to hang out at the lake. There’s a great view of Mt Rainier.
We took the short loop and finished within 25 mins. It was a great walk after the picnic at the park. The weather was great and there were lots of shades along the trail, clean and easy.
