Confirmed from Saint Edward Beach's own listing, the park or land manager's website, and runner reviews. Blank cells mean we could not verify that fact — we would rather say "not reported" than invent one. There is no Easy / Moderate / Hard rating on this page on purpose: a one-word difficulty score tells you nothing about whether a trail suits your run. Surface, distance, shade and hours do.

What runners say about Saint Edward Beach

Pulled from public reviews of this trail (55 of them) — the things people bring up again and again, in their own words. Nothing here is written by us.

🏞️ beautiful scenery 8 mentions

“Absolutely beautiful beach that also has bathrooms (with no running water) by the lakefront.”

🌾 quiet & peaceful 3 mentions

“Quiet & tranquil beach on the shores of lake Washington…0.”

Great little beach on the northeast side of Lake Washington. Small but very beautiful views. The hike down and back up can take a good amount of energy but it's worth it.

Flora and Fauna leading to this place is very interesting. They need to go through it though and Eradicate the Kudzu before it really takes hold. There are fungal specimens and a plethora of natural plants. I suggest you stay on the trail though, things can get a bit hairy if you go off it.

★★★★★ — Dale , Sep 2022

Absolutely beautiful beach that also has bathrooms (with no running water) by the lakefront. Would I suggest bringing a toddler? Absolutely not.. The hike to the beach isn't long, but it definitely steep, so be VERY careful. It is absolutely beautifully maintained and perfect for scenery and taking nature photos.

★★★★★ — The , Jul 2022

Loved the nature and the hike. Coming to the lake was the cherry on top of the cake! Unfortunately the impression was ruined by the broken window of the car, parked near us l, therefore, I give it 4 stars. The owner war already on the phone with the police, when we came.

Trail conditions & character

What this trail is actually like underfoot and overhead, taken from its own listing and from reviews. Each one links to every other trail with the same character. Busy or quiet is reported as a plain fact, not a plus or a minus — a runner heading out alone at dawn often wants company on the path, and someone running intervals wants an empty one.

🏞️ Scenic views 11 mentions

“It’s time well worth spent just soaking in the views of the lake, boats and watch the sea planes land and take off on a nice afternoon.”
