Confirmed from Dog Town Dog Park & Sitting Bull Park's own listing, the park or land manager's website, and runner reviews. Blank cells mean we could not verify that fact — we would rather say "not reported" than invent one. There is no Easy / Moderate / Hard rating on this page on purpose: a one-word difficulty score tells you nothing about whether a trail suits your run. Surface, distance, shade and hours do.

Spacious, double-gated animal park with a dog agility course and large hill.

What runners say about Dog Town Dog Park & Sitting Bull Park

Pulled from public reviews of this trail (159 of them) — the things people bring up again and again, in their own words. Nothing here is written by us.

well-maintained 6 mentions

“It's a pretty clean park but I did notice last time I was there that some people were not picking up after their dogs.”

🐕 dog-walking favorite 5 mentions

“I really appreciate when people take the time to train their dog to sit while they are walking them.”

Stopped on a road trip out West to have our dog stretch his legs. Nothing spectacular but a serviceable area for dogs to run around. Also had water and bags to pick up after your pet.

Great Dog Park! Love the hill and the agility course. The dog park is the biggest in the Bisman area. There is no separate area for big/small dogs, but there’s definitely enough room for everyone. Park has seating for the people and a drinking fountain for dogs!

I'm a local petsitter and bring one of my daycare dogs here all the time. She is usually pretty shy and has a hard time being comfortable, but the way this facility is designed and the attitude of the regulars who visit makes it a lot easier for her.

Great place to let the doggos run free. Plenty of room for them and owners to mingle in the sun. Gated off to allow safe collaring and round up. Numerous play things for the pups and poop baggies supplied on grounds. Wouldn't advise dogs that don't do well around lots of people and animals.

Trail conditions & character

What this trail is actually like underfoot and overhead, taken from its own listing and from reviews. Each one links to every other trail with the same character. Busy or quiet is reported as a plain fact, not a plus or a minus — a runner heading out alone at dawn often wants company on the path, and someone running intervals wants an empty one.

🐕 Dog-friendly 51 mentions

“It was my first ever dog park with our new recieved puppy who had been socialized with other dogs yet.”

🚰 Water fountains 5 mentions

“The park has a dog water fountain, which is always a plus, and my dog had a lot of fun trying the different agility course activities, despite having never done them before.”
