Confirmed from Dogfish Creek Trail's own listing, the park or land manager's website, and runner reviews. Blank cells mean we could not verify that fact — we would rather say "not reported" than invent one. There is no Easy / Moderate / Hard rating on this page on purpose: a one-word difficulty score tells you nothing about whether a trail suits your run. Surface, distance, shade and hours do.
What runners say about Dogfish Creek Trail
Lovely nature trail just off the highway. This entrance has 8-9 parking spaces. Doggie poop bags available at the trailhead. Benches scattered throughout the trail with a picnic table or two. Olympic Otter
Awesome park to walk trails! Nice gravel paths as well wooden bridges along the way. There 2 main trails but each one has multiple little run offs to creeks and sight seeing areas. We spent about an hour there on the steelhead trail and stopping at every place along the way!
It's a nice walk. The path is narrow so if you are like me and want to wear a mask when 6 ft isn't possible, then you should bring a mask. It wasn't crowded and plenty to look at. I loved the walk, give it a try
There are two entrances to this park. One side has fair amount of parking. The other side only has five or six spots. A lot of the trail is wooden bridges mixed with dirt paths which is really awesome and makes the entire trail system really easy to walk.
Trail conditions & character
“Bicycling is allowed as well but several boardwalk turns aren't super bike friendly - be prepared to use caution at a few of the 90 degree turns if pedestrians are present.”
