Another great park in the West Reno area. Close to Truckee River and you will find a lot of green. I feel there is something for everyone in this beautiful park. Nice bridge, nice green trails for walking. Great for everyone even if you have disabilities, you will be able enjoy walking or wheeling.
Great park for a walking the dog or biking on a paved path. Plenty of trees right on the river with river access as well. It's far less crowded compared to other places so it offers a relaxed atmosphere.
I had a great walk along the river with a lot of friendly people walking.
The park has plenty of parking. There are great walking paths that give you amazing views of the mountains and The Truckee River. We came a few days after the snow storm and were pleasantly surprised that all the walking paths had been cleared. It is a nice walk from here to Mayberry Park as well.
