This is a great park to visit. We went to check out the splash pad and it is beautiful. Ample shade for the gown ups and a huge water environment for the kids to explore. The splash area is not big on action (no slides, no big features), but it is big and lots to interact with.
The best park we’ve found so far! My kids had a blast today. We played at the splash pad and had a great time, then we went and got their scooters and walked the nicely paved trails they have. We also tried fishing off of the PFC Aaron M. Hudson Memorial bridge, caught a few bass but that was it. Oh!
This area is my 'go-to' for walking my dog since I moved to this area. It is beautiful and peaceful! It is well taken care of. There's a mini library near the pond dock for those that need a book and to donate. CONs: 35 Highway is visible from the area. There is not a designated dog area for them to run unleashed.
This place is so cool. The artificial turf is really nice. There are some shady spots but not many. The splash zones are suitable for all ages. Even my 11 month old was having fun. This was his second time going. Last year he was 3 months and he had fun.
