Confirmed from Tower Bay Park's own listing, the park or land manager's website, and runner reviews. Blank cells mean we could not verify that fact — we would rather say "not reported" than invent one. There is no Easy / Moderate / Hard rating on this page on purpose: a one-word difficulty score tells you nothing about whether a trail suits your run. Surface, distance, shade and hours do.
Public park on Lewisville Lake with a concrete boat ramp & access to a lakeside hiking/biking trail.
What runners say about Tower Bay Park
“I really liked how clean and well-kept the park is—there are picnic areas, restrooms, and walking trails if you want to take a break from fishing.”
“Lots of freshly planted trees promise to make this a beautiful place in the coming years.”
“The park is right on Lake Lewisville and has such a peaceful, scenic vibe.”
Path over to island is nice. Island is very nice trail. But to connect to Denton Katy trail you have to go back to the overpass. That trail is probably great for bikes but fairly boring for hiking.
Very peaceful! Trail is very good, it takes you inside and it feels like ur are woods and lots of beach areas in-betwee, very few people were there, best place to visit in this pendamic.
Nice place to watch the birds and lake. Plus there's a hiking and biking trail to traverse. It's very scenic and fun to explore.
I went fishing at Tower Bay Park and it turned out to be a great experience. The park is right on Lake Lewisville and has such a peaceful, scenic vibe. The boat ramp and fishing access are very convenient, making it easy to set up and spend time on the water.
