Confirmed from Lundstrom Park's own listing, the park or land manager's website, and runner reviews. Blank cells mean we could not verify that fact — we would rather say "not reported" than invent one. There is no Easy / Moderate / Hard rating on this page on purpose: a one-word difficulty score tells you nothing about whether a trail suits your run. Surface, distance, shade and hours do.

What runners say about Lundstrom Park

Pulled from public reviews of this trail (301 of them) — the things people bring up again and again, in their own words. Nothing here is written by us.

🏞️ beautiful scenery 3 mentions

“Lots of beautiful grass and space, easy walking paths, and a cute shaded playground.”

🌳 shaded & cool 7 mentions

“A large playground with lots of climbing opportunities and covered tube slides which are nice since the playground had no shade.”

This is a great Park. There are plenty of trees to set up a hammock on. There is a pull-up bar. There is a great park. And there are great bathrooms. The park is also located near a great walking trail by a canal.

I've been coming to this park for years. There is a lot of open green space including several ball fields. There are many mature shade trees, which is great for picnicking on the grass in warmer weather. There is also a covered picnic area if you prefer sitting at a table or have a larger group of people.

This park is big and easy access from university and also from bonneville. There is a nice, quiet trail by the park and you could hit the bonneville shoreline trail from many spots on this trail. Its gorgeous during fall.

Did a night hike on the Boneville Shoreline trail last night. Great trail to do any time of year. A little chilly but the view was worth it. Looking over Cache Valley at night.

Trail conditions & character

What this trail is actually like underfoot and overhead, taken from its own listing and from reviews. Each one links to every other trail with the same character. Busy or quiet is reported as a plain fact, not a plus or a minus — a runner heading out alone at dawn often wants company on the path, and someone running intervals wants an empty one.
