WOW, just wow! I loved this hike. the trail was wonderful, the climb was moderate and the frequent views of Utah County were breathtaking. I highly recommend this hike.
Dry Canyon is stunning upon arrival for it has these 2 massive cliffs on both sides of the trail that give it an impression of a grand entrance. The first part of the hike starts with steep stairs and then there are lots of trails that split off. There are trails that head up to the top of the cliffs.
Amazing place to hike and mountain bike and hunt. There are so many trails that you can take and even go off on a bunch of game trails. You should be able to see plenty of deer, elk, and birds as you walk around in the early morning or the evening. Great place to take kids as well.
Have hiked here many times. It’s a great trail with several smaller choices if you want to change it up. I like to take the little switchback to the north cliff for a nice view of the valley. Hiking this during sunrise or sunset makes for some beautiful lighting with the cliffs.
