Confirmed from Battle Creek Falls Trail Head's own listing, the park or land manager's website, and runner reviews. Blank cells mean we could not verify that fact — we would rather say "not reported" than invent one. There is no Easy / Moderate / Hard rating on this page on purpose: a one-word difficulty score tells you nothing about whether a trail suits your run. Surface, distance, shade and hours do.

“Most places say family friendly, but there are some pretty steep spots and narrow paths with drop offs so I'd hold on tight to littles.”

It’s another day in paradise for my Husband. As an experienced hiker who loves hiking 🥾 in the mountains 🏔️. He had some choices to choose between hiking 🥾 or mountain ⛰️ biking 🚴‍♀️. He chose to do the hike himself and start walking from Grove Creek and made it to the Battle Creek Falls Trails Head.

This is a sick ass hike! You two have a large waterfall where you can rappel down which is freaking cool! Little bit further they got a smaller cute little waterfall that has a natural small basin you can sit in or whatever pretty cool also. Lots of trees here, it's very Serene walking through these. Extremely calming.

This is a really pretty hike. I've done it twice in the last week. There's an incredible view of Utah lake even from the parking area. The hike up to the first waterfall takes about half an hour. A beginner could do it. It might be a tad difficult at the steep areas but it's really worth it.

Trail conditions & character

What this trail is actually like underfoot and overhead, taken from its own listing and from reviews. Each one links to every other trail with the same character. Busy or quiet is reported as a plain fact, not a plus or a minus — a runner heading out alone at dawn often wants company on the path, and someone running intervals wants an empty one.
