Confirmed from Duane R Harte Park's own listing, the park or land manager's website, and runner reviews. Blank cells mean we could not verify that fact — we would rather say "not reported" than invent one. There is no Easy / Moderate / Hard rating on this page on purpose: a one-word difficulty score tells you nothing about whether a trail suits your run. Surface, distance, shade and hours do.

It's a park, folks. Bathrooms were clean (as of Sept, 2018), nice trees, a walking path, access to and from a bike trail, and a play ground for kids. Not a ton of parking though. The park is in u-shaped valley in a neighborhood of tract homes.

Nice little family park with access to the Riverwalk Bike Path. I hear there are public restrooms there too. This park is nice, safe, & clean. Let's keep it that way.

★★★★☆ — Stephen , Jun 2020

Beautiful park. New and exciting playground. Lots of room to run in the grass and far enough away from the street so mom/dad can rest easy.

★★★★★ — Avery , Dec 2024

Great park with trail and a trail story along the way. Good play equipment. Field of grass. And a bat house at the end of the trail.

Trail conditions & character

What this trail is actually like underfoot and overhead, taken from its own listing and from reviews. Each one links to every other trail with the same character. Busy or quiet is reported as a plain fact, not a plus or a minus — a runner heading out alone at dawn often wants company on the path, and someone running intervals wants an empty one.

The practical stuff

  • AccessOpen 24 hours — no gate to beat, so a 5am or a 10pm run both work

  • ShadeRunners describe real tree cover here — it makes a summer afternoon workable
  • At the trailheadparking, restrooms — reported by runners
  • DogsWelcome, per reviewers. Leash rules vary by park — the trailhead sign is the authority.
