Confirmed from Iron Horse Trailhead's own listing, the park or land manager's website, and runner reviews. Blank cells mean we could not verify that fact — we would rather say "not reported" than invent one. There is no Easy / Moderate / Hard rating on this page on purpose: a one-word difficulty score tells you nothing about whether a trail suits your run. Surface, distance, shade and hours do.
Hiking and biking are popular activities at this area, which also features a photogenic bridge.
What runners say about Iron Horse Trailhead
“Very fun to ride bicycles all paved roads most of the bike path are away from Cars the trails are well-maintained and very clean”
“It’s not really that scenic but it is a nice place to walk or ride”
“Very partial shade, c'mon Santa Clarita, adopt some trees to shade the path!”
I've been here four times each time I took a different trail. You can walk or run, ride your bike I even brought my long board and each time was a blast! They have many different trails over nine I believe ranging from 10miles to over 70miles!
I love this place. The bridge is beautiful. It's a paved trail so you can either go for a walk, a good run or a bike ride.
It's a paved bike path around the industrial center with a small section for walkers but it's an easy trail with some great sunset views of Magic Mountain. Eventually if you head into Valencia, you can use this path to go along new walking routes that generally do a good job of keeping cars away from you.
Very nice trail Also by the bridge is a very good place to take pictures ( they were recording a musical video when we went there) thats how amazing it looks Trails are easy to jog, not much climbing, depending on the trail tho They have also have bicycle lanes Worth giving it a vist Bridge was built 1898
