Confirmed from Earle Park's own listing, the park or land manager's website, and runner reviews. Blank cells mean we could not verify that fact — we would rather say "not reported" than invent one. There is no Easy / Moderate / Hard rating on this page on purpose: a one-word difficulty score tells you nothing about whether a trail suits your run. Surface, distance, shade and hours do.
What runners say about Earle Park
“There are wooded trails, small bridges, streams, wetlands, and some beautiful views of the Connecticut River.”
“Nice area to listen to an assortment of birds, including the Wood Thrush and Red Eyed Vireo, and there's a quiet pond that is growing Arrowheads in it.”
Nice hidden gem tucked away off a main road. There are no trail blazes, but there doesn't need to be because the trails are well-defined. Be careful of some tree roots on the beginning of the path.
A nice little trail by the CT river, be prepared for lots of mud or in the spring/summer due its proximity to the water lots of mosquitoes.
Good trail in the Mack to the river. It was raining so I had to turn around.
I went to Earle Park expecting a quick walk and ended up wandering around much longer than planned. There are wooded trails, small bridges, streams, wetlands, and some beautiful views of the Connecticut River. It's the kind of place where you keep saying "just one more trail" and suddenly you've been there for an hour.

The practical stuff

- DistanceNot reported. Trail systems often quote total path mileage rather than a single loop, so measure the route you actually want before you drive out.
- ShadeNot reported. Assume some of it is exposed and carry water in summer.
