Confirmed from East Branch Brandywine Trail - South Access, M John Johnson Nature Area's own listing, the park or land manager's website, and runner reviews. Blank cells mean we could not verify that fact — we would rather say "not reported" than invent one. There is no Easy / Moderate / Hard rating on this page on purpose: a one-word difficulty score tells you nothing about whether a trail suits your run. Surface, distance, shade and hours do.

This lot has quick easy access to the Branywine Trail and one handicapped spot. This trail is paved and handicapped accessible. There is a trail information kiosk at the entrance. The parking lot is small and narrow making it difficult for longer vehicles.
I made my first visit to this fine trail on Sunday October 22, 2023. The weather was clear but obnoxiously windy so I left my bike in the car and went for a walk. The trail was busy with dog walkers and baby strollers. Very enjoyable morning.
I've hiked here 4-6 times a week for well over 3 years. A wonderful trail any time of year...
