Confirmed from Sugar’s Bridge Nature Area's own listing, the park or land manager's website, and runner reviews. Blank cells mean we could not verify that fact — we would rather say "not reported" than invent one. There is no Easy / Moderate / Hard rating on this page on purpose: a one-word difficulty score tells you nothing about whether a trail suits your run. Surface, distance, shade and hours do.
What runners say about Sugar’s Bridge Nature Area
Easily accessible trail with views along the east branch Brandywine creek. I think you can swim here and the water looks so pretty. Highly recommend this park for trails and exploring.
Making my way onto the last section of the trail I came across rocky landscapes and the sprouting of spring flowers that have popped out. The weather is absolutely beautiful this time of year. So get on up and visit the trail and enjoy what the view has to offer.
There is a paved trail and you can bring a float device like a kayak or tube and float down the Brandywine River. Make sure to park a car down stream so you can put your canoe back on car.
