Confirmed from Eastern Regional Greenway's own listing, the park or land manager's website, and runner reviews. Blank cells mean we could not verify that fact — we would rather say "not reported" than invent one. There is no Easy / Moderate / Hard rating on this page on purpose: a one-word difficulty score tells you nothing about whether a trail suits your run. Surface, distance, shade and hours do.
What runners say about Eastern Regional Greenway
“If you have dogs—and if they poop on the concrete, don't be pigs; clean it up.”
“Perfect for walking, running, or biking.”
Beautiful ride. I can't wait until they take this trail under Winder Highway and up to Dacula Park and the future Piedmont Pathway!
Nice wide open paved trail, easy for all activities from walking, roller skating and biking along the path. The trail head has a bike repair station with tools and air! It is just over 10 miles total, 5 to the turn around and 5 back with only one other Entrance area.
Very nice trail... clean, quiet, and I think it's like 10 miles of a paved path. Nice place for exercise, meditation, or taking the kids out. Would highly recommend 👍
This is a very good trail for cycling. There and back is 10.22 miles with some slight hills. If you want to build up your endurance, this trail is very good because you can ride it two or three times and easily go 20-30 miles. My only complaint is that the water fountain is off.
Trail conditions & character
“Wish they would let high school art classes paint the concrete caps to make things a little more interesting to look at.”
“There are no resources on the trail so if you run here make sure to pack up because theres no water, benches, or bathrooms other than the parking area.”

The practical stuff
- AccessHours vary — hours are not posted for this trail, so check before an early or late run
- SurfaceMixed — more than one surface along the route, so check the segment you plan to run
- DistanceNot reported. Trail systems often quote total path mileage rather than a single loop, so measure the route you actually want before you drive out.
- ShadeNot reported. Assume some of it is exposed and carry water in summer.
- At the trailheadparking, restrooms, water — reported by runners
- DogsWelcome, per reviewers. Leash rules vary by park — the trailhead sign is the authority.
- Stroller / wheelchairReported as smooth and step-free enough for a running stroller or a chair.
