The majority of the yellow trail has little to no shade depending on the time of day. And the farther back you go on the red trail the denser the trees become. It's incredibly beautiful with all kinds of flora and fauna
Absolutely loved this trail! It was amazing, beautiful and tranquil. Definitely bigger than I expected but with SOOO much to see and explore. Just when you thought it wasn't going to get better there was another amazing site to see.
Great place to go for a run or walk and be close to nature without a far drive. Dog and family friendly beginners trails. The actual river has seen better days, and I usually see a good variety of birds or animals.
Beautiful typical Florida park as there are plenty of pine trees with oak trees here and there as you walk the trail. Depending on the time of day you will see wildlife. I went in the hot afternoon so I mostly saw tourists and turtles.
