Confirmed from Edward S. Alekel Veterans Memorial Park aka Milk St. Park's own listing, the park or land manager's website, and runner reviews. Blank cells mean we could not verify that fact — we would rather say "not reported" than invent one. There is no Easy / Moderate / Hard rating on this page on purpose: a one-word difficulty score tells you nothing about whether a trail suits your run. Surface, distance, shade and hours do.

well-maintained 3 mentions

“Very clean and great space for everyone.”

🌾 quiet & peaceful 3 mentions

“Awesome trails to walk or run or jog, by yourself is so peaceful but with a partner is such a beautiful setting to unwind and relax!”

This was a great park to go to for a walk and enjoy an unexpected warm day. For the most part it was clean. My little one enjoyed the play areas. I tried to keep him in his appropriate area but he kept going to the older child section which even for me I thought it was to high so you really have to watch your child.

This park is so peaceful excellent to go walk your dogs or just to get your steps whatever you choose this place is great for it...

★★★★★ — Vickyanna , May 2024

It was a nice short walk, paved. Lots of poison ivy around the sides but wide enough to stay clear.

★★★★☆ — Lori , Jul 2023

My kids love this park .. They call it the dinosaur park because when you walk in the back through all the trees it feels as if dinosaurs could be living there . Great for quality family time and lots of fun!

Trail conditions & character

What this trail is actually like underfoot and overhead, taken from its own listing and from reviews. Each one links to every other trail with the same character. Busy or quiet is reported as a plain fact, not a plus or a minus — a runner heading out alone at dawn often wants company on the path, and someone running intervals wants an empty one.
