This park isn't the cleanest, the state needs to do a better job there, but the view of the Merrimack is beautiful, it's a great place to sit, walk, bike or bring your dog. Sure it gets it's share of riff-raff, but what park doesn't? The boathouse is great too, my daughter has a membership there and loves it.
Lawrence Heritage State Park manages the Exhibition Center (Jackson Street, in Lawrence), the Pemberton Park, Riverfront State Park, the Greycourt State Park (37 Pleasant St. Methuen, MA); and one more. The Greycourt State Park is located on the site of the former Tenney Estate and Gatehouse.
