Confirmed from Eisenbahn State Trail - Rusco Rd. Trailhead's own listing, the park or land manager's website, and runner reviews. Blank cells mean we could not verify that fact — we would rather say "not reported" than invent one. There is no Easy / Moderate / Hard rating on this page on purpose: a one-word difficulty score tells you nothing about whether a trail suits your run. Surface, distance, shade and hours do.
What runners say about Eisenbahn State Trail - Rusco Rd. Trailhead
Great north/south trail right through the heart of downtown West Bend. We rode it several different days and even took it all of the way up to Eden where it basically ends on the northern extent. Looking forward to riding on it more as the trees fill out and everything blossoms.
Decent trailhead at the southern terminus of the Eisenbahn State Trail with paved parking, an ADA-friendly portable toilet, a bike workstand with tools (as of 10/20/23), and a bench. A State Trail Pass is not required for bicycling on the Eisenbahn State Trail.
The trailhead parking lot has about 10 spaced and a port-a-potty. Pave trail is nice, mostly shady. We turned around when it changed to crush gravel at about 5 miles.
Good trail , 5 miles of paved then crushed limestone in really good shape.
