We have not been able to confirm the surface, distance or shape of Ellett Valley Recreational Area Trailhead yet from its own listing, the park's website or runner reviews — so those cells stay blank rather than guess. What is below comes straight from the listing and from reviewers' own words. There is no Easy / Moderate / Hard rating on this page on purpose: a one-word difficulty score tells you nothing about whether a trail suits your run. Surface, distance, shade and hours do.
What runners say about Ellett Valley Recreational Area Trailhead
Quiet, peaceful hiking trail. Nice interpretation markers along the way highlight geologic and other natural features along the way. Not at all crowded. Varied terrain, with some elevation gain. Limited parking, only about 3 or 4 parking spaces at a time.
Love the simplicity and rawness of this trail. It does need some TLC, but it’s great for walking, trail running, or walking your dog.
