Confirmed from Emerson Park's own listing, the park or land manager's website, and runner reviews. Blank cells mean we could not verify that fact — we would rather say "not reported" than invent one. There is no Easy / Moderate / Hard rating on this page on purpose: a one-word difficulty score tells you nothing about whether a trail suits your run. Surface, distance, shade and hours do.

“It's quiet and in a good neighborhood.”

A really nice little park with plenty of playground equipment for both very young children and older kids. Very well-kept and clean. We were there Saturday about 11:30 a.m. and there was a small group who had rented the Cabana space. Even with that, the park was pleasant and not all that busy.

My high school is nearby, so my friends and i often walk past this park on our way down town. It's quiet and in a good neighborhood. Definitely safe for children. It has swings, a large field, two play areas, and a sandbox. Plus, lots of shade for parents to supervise.under.

Nice park, great equipment. It is fenced but no gates. There was a shady looking dude in a skirt walking around. Didn't appear to be with anyone. We let the kids have fun but kept a close eye on them as usual.

Trail conditions & character

What this trail is actually like underfoot and overhead, taken from its own listing and from reviews. Each one links to every other trail with the same character. Busy or quiet is reported as a plain fact, not a plus or a minus — a runner heading out alone at dawn often wants company on the path, and someone running intervals wants an empty one.
