Confirmed from Englewood Boat Basin's own listing, the park or land manager's website, and runner reviews. Blank cells mean we could not verify that fact — we would rather say "not reported" than invent one. There is no Easy / Moderate / Hard rating on this page on purpose: a one-word difficulty score tells you nothing about whether a trail suits your run. Surface, distance, shade and hours do.
Park featuring a river, picnic tables, and a trail, suitable for families.
What runners say about Englewood Boat Basin
“Beautiful place to relax and take photos, tricky to get to but worth the drive”
Really nice place to visit! There's a narrow hiking trail, a small playground for kids, and lots of parking. Picnic tables are available and fishing is allowed here as far as I know. There's a really nice view of the city and a sandy beach area.
A regular destination for me and my paddle friends out of NYC. The beach at the north end is 8.73 miles from Manhattan Kayak Co. (next to Intrepid in Hell's Kitchen) on Pier 84 in Hudson River Park.
A nice park, not a lot of playgrounds but there are area for fishing. I find this area is used mostly for biking, running, walking, and hiking. As a warning if you come here for those activities it is very hilly
Good place for a walk along the river - it is usually windy so great to go on a hot day.
