Confirmed from Allison Park's own listing, the park or land manager's website, and runner reviews. Blank cells mean we could not verify that fact — we would rather say "not reported" than invent one. There is no Easy / Moderate / Hard rating on this page on purpose: a one-word difficulty score tells you nothing about whether a trail suits your run. Surface, distance, shade and hours do.
Small, peaceful park along the Palisades featuring a stone cabin, picnic tables and hiking.
What runners say about Allison Park
“Although there were literally hundreds of dead fish rotting in the water along the shore trail, besides that it was beautiful.”
Decided on a small hike from Allison park using the long path north to dyckman hill trail to Englewood picnic area. Then took shore trail to Ross dock picnic area. Had a lovely little lunch. Then took carpenter trail back up, and then back to long path back to Allison park. Total 2 hours.
Great view of the George Washington Bridge & Hudson River. Small park with walking paths & benches. I enjoy visiting for 15-60 minutes.
Love the trail running here. Easy parking, nice bathrooms. - let me know if anyone finds my brown sandals that I left in the parking lot though :(
