We have not been able to confirm the surface, distance or shape of Hudson Park yet from its own listing, the park's website or runner reviews — so those cells stay blank rather than guess. What is below comes straight from the listing and from reviewers' own words. There is no Easy / Moderate / Hard rating on this page on purpose: a one-word difficulty score tells you nothing about whether a trail suits your run. Surface, distance, shade and hours do.
Scenic riverfront park with hiking trails, picnics, BBQ and playgrounds.
What runners say about Hudson Park
“Picturesque and tranquil, Hudson Park is a magical place to run, walk, hike or just breathe in the atmosphere.”
Picturesque and tranquil, Hudson Park is a magical place to run, walk, hike or just breathe in the atmosphere. Overlooking the Hudson with unparalleled views of the George Washington Bridge, its a great place to clear your head, possibly get your mind right, prior to stepping back into the NJ / NYC urban sprawl.
Hudson Park and Boulevard is a greenway and boulevard in Hell's Kitchen, Manhattan in New York City, being built as part of the Hudson Yards Redevelopment Project. It lies between 10th and 11th Avenues.
Great view of the George Washington Bridge from Ross Dock. Ross dock has a playground and picnic area. Great area to walk around. Has paid parking at $1.50 per hour on weekday and $2.50 per hour on weekend (until 7 or 8 pm which varies depending on the days of the month).
This park is right at the border of NJ/NY. Both sides of it are equally beautiful. A great hiking place. Those ginormous rocks will have you sweating, puffing and huffing. Not for the faint of heart. If afraid of heights...avoid the rock trail. Lots of bird watchers too
