Nice peaceful trail, however unmarked, so we could not complete the loop. Small parking lot in a residential area.
Nice hidden parking lot. Trails to the water and around. Usually you are in sight of some houses, but it is pleasant.
We have walked Esopus Bend Nature Preserve but never from the Sterley Ave. entrance. There is a small parking lot that could fit about six cars. When we got there we were not sure if we should park on the street or pull in, as everything was covered in leaves so it didn't look like a parking lot.
One of my favorite spots to go to. Always a peaceful visit and my dog loves the trails.
