Visited this park for the first time 3/18/19 at 10am and saw 4 cars parked outside the gate to the park. Parking in the park is gated off in the winter it seems. Saw 2 people and a dog on the trail and 2 people at the lake. Bathrooms are open but not clean right now.
Very nice local park. Picnic location is right by the lake with plenty of tables. You can kayak or paddle boats, fishing, or just play by the lake. There are hiking trails around the lake, almost all shady. We did close to 5 miles, out and back. Lacamas park is just across the street. Double the fun!
Recently went here for the first time. Wonderful trails so far. I am lookinh forward to exploring it more!! Its a once a week stop for me at the moment until the dogs and I can find all the trails!
Though the park wasn't exactly accessible, it was pretty easy to access. The lake is beautiful, with abundant foliage and wildlife. The sites, trails, and facilities were clean and in good order.
