We have not been able to confirm the surface, distance or shape of Lower Falls yet from its own listing, the park's website or runner reviews — so those cells stay blank rather than guess. What is below comes straight from the listing and from reviewers' own words. There is no Easy / Moderate / Hard rating on this page on purpose: a one-word difficulty score tells you nothing about whether a trail suits your run. Surface, distance, shade and hours do.
What runners say about Lower Falls
“Beautiful views and clean area (please pack out your dog poop, don't just bag it and leave it.”
Really cool falls! Love this whole area and park! If you’re looking for a close escape from the city and don’t want to drive far to hike this place is amazing! There’s also an amazing lake and two other waterfalls here. Great place to walk, walk the dogs, hike, bike, and kayak.
Very pretty, but directions will lead you to a cemetery. Try using the lacamas creek trail parking lot instead
Wow! It was amazing to see this today. There was so much water...and flooding. The water was so fast. It was great to be able to get so close to it and also to be able to walk over it on the bridge.
It's such a wonderful hike and an impressive falls easy there and easy back. I like the large trail accessable for strollers. And powered wheelchairs. Parkbenchess at the end near the bridge. So if you bring food, or just want a beautiful place to work.
