Confirmed from Fants Grove Road Horse Trail Head's own listing, the park or land manager's website, and runner reviews. Blank cells mean we could not verify that fact — we would rather say "not reported" than invent one. There is no Easy / Moderate / Hard rating on this page on purpose: a one-word difficulty score tells you nothing about whether a trail suits your run. Surface, distance, shade and hours do.
What runners say about Fants Grove Road Horse Trail Head
Great place to go walking! Over 36 miles of trails. Be sure to bring bug spray and shoes that can get muddy. And don't block entrances to the service roads.
It's just a plain parking for limited number of trailers. No water avalable for horses, no routing signs, no bulletin board with "you-are-here" map, but at least it has access to a few miles of trails that haven't had the forest cutover.
This is a great place for everyone from beginner to experienced riders. There are many different ways to enjoy your time in this gift of a place. I love making this my trailhead, then taking turns to enjoy different paths to happiness.
Pretty nice trail, with medium hills. The only problem looks like some crazy weather or forest management has torn up some of the trails. We used the all trails app to find where the trail disappeared.
