A clean, nice little park in Clemson. It's got a little play area for children, but no swings. There are a few benches, two of which swing, as well as a picnic table. Across a nearby bridge (which goes over a little creek) is a concrete "stage." Also, there are walking paths. The parking area closes at 8pm.
This is rated as a park for young children and it is perfect for that demographic. It is well shaded and connected to the Abernathy Waterfront park by a walking trail. Both mom and toddler approved.
My kids love this place, very shady during the summer and you can enjoy a nice walk.
I recently spent a day at Jaycee Park in Clemson, and it was a wonderful experience! The playground is vibrant and perfect for kids, while the shaded picnic areas offer a great spot for a relaxing afternoon. The stage often hosts local performances, which adds a lovely community feel.
