Confirmed from Farragut Connector's own listing, the park or land manager's website, and runner reviews. Blank cells mean we could not verify that fact — we would rather say "not reported" than invent one. There is no Easy / Moderate / Hard rating on this page on purpose: a one-word difficulty score tells you nothing about whether a trail suits your run. Surface, distance, shade and hours do.
What runners say about Farragut Connector
The Connector gets a makeover, and she looks stunning! Complete with lighting to illuminate the path at night, new landscaping, a water refill station for humans and dogs, and mirrors to see around that tight corner—which is still pretty tight. If you’re on bike, you should definitely walk it to avoid a crash.
Nice shortcut for I & my dog. There is a fountain for pets as well as for refilling drinking bottles. For pet owners as myself that use the walk = thru ..would be nice if the city would provide a garbage cans for our pets waste .
Super cool and fun connection between two streets. Great for connecting the neighborhood and makes going out for a quick run much easier to navigate.
It provides valuable connection to the ballona creek path through the Jackson street gate. Very nice!

The practical stuff
- AccessHours vary — hours are not posted for this trail, so check before an early or late run
- SurfacePaved — asphalt or concrete. Fast and predictable, runnable year-round, and fine with a stroller
- DistanceNot reported. Trail systems often quote total path mileage rather than a single loop, so measure the route you actually want before you drive out.
- ShadeNot reported. Assume some of it is exposed and carry water in summer.
- LightingRunners report lights on the path — useful for pre-dawn and after-work miles. Lighting and opening hours are separate things, so check both.
- At the trailheadwater — reported by runners
- DogsWelcome, per reviewers. Leash rules vary by park — the trailhead sign is the authority.
