We have not been able to confirm the surface, distance or shape of FDR State Park yet from its own listing, the park's website or runner reviews — so those cells stay blank rather than guess. What is below comes straight from the listing and from reviewers' own words. There is no Easy / Moderate / Hard rating on this page on purpose: a one-word difficulty score tells you nothing about whether a trail suits your run. Surface, distance, shade and hours do.
Massive swimming pool in a park with a playground, picnic areas, basketball & a disc-golf course.

This is a huge and lovely state park to explore. Many picnic tables available to celebrate parties with family and friends. BBq grill iz also available for use. Nice ambiance to chill and breath some fresh air. One could hike/run, swim in their pool or fish in lake. New playground is under construction now.
Great walk anytime of the year. Using the @empireparkpass to access the past on a regular basis. Great winter walking bathroom closest to entrance on Taconic is open. One of off road trail is plowed. Found Rudolph hanging out with Dasher
Delightful park — lake you can fish and go out on, some trails, disc golf course. Trails have beautiful old hiking bridges, some restored by Eagle Scouts it would seem. Hosts some local running events. Tons of picnic areas and BBQ places. Really excellent historical signs, and some older FitTrail-type posts.
