Confirmed from Veterans Park Rookery's own listing, the park or land manager's website, and runner reviews. Blank cells mean we could not verify that fact — we would rather say "not reported" than invent one. There is no Easy / Moderate / Hard rating on this page on purpose: a one-word difficulty score tells you nothing about whether a trail suits your run. Surface, distance, shade and hours do.
What runners say about Veterans Park Rookery
Super cool walking trail honoring the women who served this country. Very clean and well laid out. The statues are gorgeous and the plaques and stories amazing. There is a QR code on all of the plaques for you to read more about the women who served. Nice short walk and worth the time.
Really neat spot! Took a bit of walking around to figure out if we were in the right place, but well worth it.
Relatively small park which combines a tribute to female veterans with a nature trail. It takes about 15 minutes to make the loop and it was well worth the time. In addition to the military statues we saw several Great Blue Herons and various other smaller bird species.
A nice, short hike - at least until Wild Willy's opens the electric go-kart track that will be adjacent to the rookery.
