Confirmed from Ferry Road Park's own listing, the park or land manager's website, and runner reviews. Blank cells mean we could not verify that fact — we would rather say "not reported" than invent one. There is no Easy / Moderate / Hard rating on this page on purpose: a one-word difficulty score tells you nothing about whether a trail suits your run. Surface, distance, shade and hours do.
Wooded park boasting multiple playgrounds and baseball fields as well as disc golf, hiking trails and a covered gazebo.
What runners say about Ferry Road Park
“Park is very big, and clean, dog friendly and if you forget your doggy poop bags they supply them.”
“Absolutely stunning park, great view of bridge, huge sequoias and trees, and a little disc golf course that may be the most beautiful have seen.”

The playground is amazing. My son loves to come here. My dog also loves this park and I enjoy the trail very much! I would rate 5 star but took a star off because there are people letting their small dogs off the leash. I have a husky and keep her on leash, would like to see rules enforced please
My kids loved this park. Also where the street dead ends, follow it down and through the barrier, where there are additional paths and a beach access that with low tide can take you under the bridge.
My son absolutely LOVES this park. They have a great playground. There's also a second playground that has giant monster truck tires to climb on. There is also a baseball field, disk golf course and a nature trail with great sights of the bay.
Absolutely stunning park, great view of bridge, huge sequoias and trees, and a little disc golf course that may be the most beautiful have seen. Although we don't play, great storefront trails, trees, views. They take very good care of this park!

The practical stuff
- AccessPosted hours — posted hours below; park gates sometimes close earlier than the listing says
- DistanceNot reported. Trail systems often quote total path mileage rather than a single loop, so measure the route you actually want before you drive out.
- ShadeNot reported. Assume some of it is exposed and carry water in summer.
- DogsWelcome, per reviewers. Leash rules vary by park — the trailhead sign is the authority.
