Confirmed from Fidler Pond Park's own listing, the park or land manager's website, and runner reviews. Blank cells mean we could not verify that fact — we would rather say "not reported" than invent one. There is no Easy / Moderate / Hard rating on this page on purpose: a one-word difficulty score tells you nothing about whether a trail suits your run. Surface, distance, shade and hours do.

Beautiful Place for a Evening Walk all year round Great For Fishing & Watching The Sunset

★★★★★ — Hannah , Jun 2024

Beautiful pond with walk of about 1.5 miles. Peaceful and level! No hills lol! Swings and benches strategically placed along the trail. Pond is stocked for fishing. They have sail boats and kayaks available. A pavilion for special events. My pictures are on a cloudy day... but it is gorgeous!

★★★★★ — Judy , Aug 2022

A great place to walk, run, or just chill on the many benches they have around the paths. I really enjoy this peaceful nature of this place. It is well taken care of and awesome! I enjoy walked the loop and taking in all of the scenery.

★★★★★ — Michael , Jul 2023

Very nice spot. 1.5 mile crushed limestone trail around a lake. They have kayak, canoe and paddleboat rentals and also a good looking shelter with stone fireplace.

Trail conditions & character

What this trail is actually like underfoot and overhead, taken from its own listing and from reviews. Each one links to every other trail with the same character. Busy or quiet is reported as a plain fact, not a plus or a minus — a runner heading out alone at dawn often wants company on the path, and someone running intervals wants an empty one.

Plan your run at Fidler Pond Park

The practical stuff

  • AccessDawn to dusk — the gates close, so do not plan a run that finishes after dark
  • SurfaceMixed — more than one surface along the route, so check the segment you plan to run
  • Distance1.5 mi as reported — check whether that is one way or a round trip before you commit
  • ShadeNot reported. Assume some of it is exposed and carry water in summer.
  • LightingRunners report lights on the path — useful for pre-dawn and after-work miles. Lighting and opening hours are separate things, so check both.
  • At the trailheadparking, restrooms — reported by runners
  • DogsWelcome, per reviewers. Leash rules vary by park — the trailhead sign is the authority.
  • Stroller / wheelchairReported as smooth and step-free enough for a running stroller or a chair.
