Confirmed from Florida Trail Cassia Trailhead's own listing, the park or land manager's website, and runner reviews. Blank cells mean we could not verify that fact — we would rather say "not reported" than invent one. There is no Easy / Moderate / Hard rating on this page on purpose: a one-word difficulty score tells you nothing about whether a trail suits your run. Surface, distance, shade and hours do.
Hiking area with various trails for hikers, horses, and bikes, plus ample parking.

Had the opportunity to walk this trail. It was late in the day so did not finish the complete loop that is close to 9 miles long. The trail was well marked and enjoyed walking the portion of the trail I was on.
I am so glad I found this state forest. It was a great place for a walk. There are tall trees for shade and some open spaces for sunshine. Wide variety of vegetation for plant lovers. I also saw lizards, birds, and a coral snake!!!! So use caution when off the main roads. Trails are clearly marked for type of use i.e.
Hiking trails were somewhat unmaitained but blazes were visible, which is the important thing. Split off from Sulphur Island loop to follow yellow blaze trail which was...challenging...for a flat land hike. Many spider webs I walked into. Had to follow equestrian trails to return to Cassia trailhead.
